DIAGNOSTIC
EVALUATION/ ASSESSMENT
Our diagnostic and assessment tools provide a comprehensive view
of the thought processes and complex systems at work within each
individual. Typically lasting for 2-3 days, this psychological
evaluation also includes physical, spiritual, social, family, and
other pertinent components necessary to determine effective
treatment planning for immediate and continued care. Confidential
data from our research programs has served the national gambling
treatment community with the most thorough and scientific data
available on treatment outcomes and long term follow-up
predictors.
INTENSIVE
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT
Very often outpatient treatment appointments provided on a
weekly basis are not intensive or comprehensive enough to break
the cycles of the gambling behaviors for many individuals.
Intensive outpatient treatment programs are designed to make an
immediate impact on the individual and serve to provide an
appropriate level of structure to allow education, therapy, and
the principles of a recovery program to take shape. These programs
usually consist of four 3-hour sessions per week offered during
day and evening hours.
INTENSIVE
INPATIENT TREATMENT
The Custer Center provides the state-of-the-art intensive
in-patient program that is especially beneficial to those
individuals who have tried other forms of treatment, have had
experience with 12-step programs in the past, have experienced
relapse behaviors, have experienced feelings of hopelessness or
despair, or for those who would benefit greatly from the
structured, 24-hour, 7-day per week program that includes the
broadest spectrum of treatment modalities available. Families are
encouraged to participate.
